The service
Alcor Bio provides a subscription platform for biotech and pharmaceutical companies to find key opinion leaders and clinical investigators, organise outreach by study, send email from their own mailboxes, and track responses. These terms apply to every account. A signed order form or master agreement with your company takes precedence.
Your responsibilities
- Use the platform only for legitimate professional outreach related to research, clinical trials and scientific collaboration.
- Comply with the laws that apply to your messages, including anti-spam and data protection laws (for example CAN-SPAM, CASL, the ePrivacy rules and GDPR), and with the codes and rules that govern interactions with healthcare professionals.
- Make sure the content you send is accurate and lawful, and does not promote products in ways that are not permitted.
- Honour every request to stop contacting someone. The platform blocks unsubscribed people automatically; do not work around it.
- Keep your login details private, and tell us promptly about any unauthorised access.
- Do not copy, resell or bulk-export the Alcor Bio database, except the contact details of people you add to your own studies for your own outreach.
Mailboxes you connect
When you connect a mailbox, you authorise Alcor Bio to send the emails you schedule from it and to read replies in those conversations. You are responsible for the sending limits and rules of your email provider.
Data
Your company owns the content it creates in the platform. We process it on your behalf under our data processing terms, and as described in our privacy policy.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and secure but cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted. We may improve or change features; we will tell you in advance about changes that reduce what you have paid for.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Alcor Bio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
